2. Do I need a partner? No.
- Your highly skilled dance instructor becomes your dance partner in a private lesson.
- When participating in a group class you will have the opportunity to dance with everyone. We rotate partners frequently throughout the duration of the class.
3. If I bring a partner to group class, do I have to stay with them for the duration of the class?
- It is your choice; however, we recommend you mix it up with the other students and professionals
4. For a private lesson, is the price for the couple the same as it is for a single person? Yes.
- For private lessons the price remains the same; however, for group classes you pay a discounted amount as a couple.
5. How long will it take me to learn dances?
- It depends on many factors: your goals, your talent or ability to learn the steps, and how good you want to be. We can give you a realistic answer when you come in to the studio for your orientation.
6. Do I need previous dance experience? No.
- Most of our students come to us with absolutely no dance experience.
7. Will I look silly at this studio? No.
- Even though we may have many talented students, you will not look or feel out of place. Our students and our professionals will make you feel at home right away. Most of our students start from scratch and a large percentage are beginners.

10. How can I make a reservation/appointment?
- For reservations call: 702.465.5777
- Appointments: Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to warm-up and prepare yourself for your lesson. Please make sure that you are ready to receive your lesson for the time that it is scheduled to begin. Your lesson will end at its scheduled time so the next DDS student is not delayed. Be sure to read our cancellation policy prior to booking your appointment. We are happy to discuss our classes and packages with you if you are unsure of which class or instructor would be best for you. Please contact us at your convenience.
11. What if I have a concern about my safety or a health condition?
- Your safety is our priority! Please inform us at the time your appointment is scheduled of any medical conditions, physical ailments or disabilities that you may have. Always inform your instructor of your medical concerns as well and if you are uncomfortable at any time.
12. What is your cancellation policy?
- Attendance is an essential part of the learning process! Except for verifiable emergencies, you will not be able to make-up for private instruction that you have missed.
- We want you to learn at DDS! So be there or be square! (For early departures or late arrivals, you must let the instructor know before the private instruction begins.)
- A 24-hour cancellation notice is required for all private lessons. Unless there is a medical emergency, clients who do not cancel their scheduled lesson within 24 hours of the lesson will be charged the full amount of that lesson, or a private lesson will be deducted from the package that was purchased.
